Red Carpet (2018) // Continuous Filament PET // 150 x 85 cm
Inspired by the idea of flâneurism - seemingly aimless wanderings around the city - the Flâneur residency was designed for photography artists interested in developing work in and around urban space. The two artists selected for the programme - Alex F. Webb (UK) and Jonas Feige (DE) spent a month in Riga exploring the subject of contemporary city dwelling. Concluding the residency period Webb and Feige presented the work created during their stay in an unique installation, created in collaboration with the creative collective Orbita.
The Flâneur residency in Riga took place in April - May 2016 in the framework of the Flâneur: New urban narratives project.
Exhibition of works to coincide with the launch BLEU
